Claims

At SBJ Professional, we believe that the two most important factors to consider when dealing with claims is to respond quickly and more importantly, effectively.

We believe that insurance brokers should not just be gauged on the insurance services and premiums they offer, but on their ability to effectively handle claims, after all, this is why you purchase professional indemnity cover.

Claims are stressful, we can give you piece of mind by effectively managing the entire process, ensuring you are fully informed at all times throughout.

At SBJ Professional we never lose sight of the fact that YOU are the client and always ensure that your opinions and wishes when dealing with claims are taken into consideration when liaising with insurers.

More often than not, when claims are made against you, your reputation is at stake. We understand this and will often advise our clients of simple measures that can be deployed to ensure an acceptable resolution to all parties.

We have a dedicated, experienced claims department which is managed at Director level.

All you have to do is notify us of any potential claim and we will guide you through the rest of the process.

If you need to notify a claim or circumstance which may give rise to a claim, simply download and complete one of our claim notification forms or submit the details online.

Important notice

Claims will be notified to insurers between 9am and 5pm from Monday to Friday, (excluding bank holidays). Some insurers stipulate that acceptance of any notification must be received by their own claims department before confirming indemnity.

If your policy expires outside of business hours and you have a claim to notify, SBJ Professional will not be responsible for any matters not accepted by insurers. If you have an urgent matter, please contact us by telephone to discuss the position in the first instance.
